• Agreements with the Auckland Council to protect and enhance the Island’s environment, economy, physical infrastructure, community identity, special character and our arts and culture - whilst still meeting budget requirements        
  
• Upgrading of sports facilities

• Additions to the Tawaipaeira Skate Park 
• Development of the Waiheke Recreation and Open Space Policy
• Additional toilets at Stony Batter, Tawaipareira and Te Matuku reserves 
  
• Higher service levels in parks and villages at holiday times 
  
• A stand alone library in Oneroa 
  
• A consolidated and long-term approach to road and footpath works and storm-water management
  
• Development of a civil defence and emergency management response plan        
  
• Continuous improvement of accessibility to bus stops and shelters 
  
• A separate Council Service Centre refurbishment in Ostend 
  
• Consistently advocated and presented community preferences and priorities in the Annual Plans of  2011, 2012 and 2013
